Our commitment to ethical production is reflected in our choice of materials and manufacturing processes. We proudly utilize high-quality linen and end-of-line fabrics, ensuring that each piece we create is not only stylish but also sustainable.

 

By choosing these materials, we significantly reduce our environmental impact. Each meter of linen and repurposed fabric we use helps to save valuable resources, including thousands of litters of water. Additionally, our production practices contribute to the reduction of CO2 and CH4 emissions, making a positive difference in the fight against climate change.

**Natural Fabrics: Embracing Nature's Best**

We believe the materials we use are as important as our designs. We buy premium fabrics from the heart of the fashion industry: France and Italy, giving a preference to natural and ecological fabric. Our collections prominently feature natural fabrics like camel wool, silk, and linen. Camel wool, known for its remarkable thermal properties and softness, is biodegradable and requires minimal processing, reducing environmental impact. Its natural moisture-wicking ability makes it ideal for a wide range of climates, ensuring comfort without synthetic additives.

 

Linen, derived from the flax plant, is another staple in our fabric choices. Flax requires significantly less water and pesticides compared to cotton, making linen a more sustainable option. Its durability ensures longevity, allowing our garments to remain cherished pieces in your wardrobe for years to come.

**Craftsmanship in Every Detail**

To complement our commitment to sustainability, we proudly craft some of our buttons from leftover fabrics and use eco-friendly methods. We also use biodegradable shell and horn buttons, recyclable branded metal buttons, and absolutely beautiful Swarovski crystal buttons, carefully designed and handmade, and created a closed-loop wastewater treatment system that cleans and recycles 98% of the water from our crystal polishing process, adding a unique touch to our garments while aligning with our eco-conscious ethos.

 Other buttons we use are branded design metal buttons, natural shell buttons, and Italian craftsman's buttons.

Both metal-branded buttons and shell buttons offer distinct advantages that align with sustainability goals. Their use can enhance product durability, reduce environmental impact, and promote responsible consumption, making them excellent choices for eco-conscious brands like Oli Valenti and consumers alike.
