My name is Olia, and I am the founder of OLI VALENTI fashion.
At the heart of our brand lies a profound commitment to our origins and the values instilled in us from a young age. Inspired by my mother’s moral teachings, which emphasized the importance of being a good person for both the people around us and the land we inhabit, we strive to embed these principles into every aspect of our work. As we embark on this journey towards international success, we remain dedicated to making choices that reflect compassion, integrity, and respect for our community and environment. My pursuit of happiness and the freedom to dream and achieve led me to settle in New Zealand. With a passion for creativity and design, I embarked on a process of designing and making limited quantities of garments. Accolades followed with winning in prestigious fashion shows, including evening gowns in Miss Earth New Zealand and "Pasifika Fashion Show".

My journey has been a beautiful tapestry woven from my experiences in aromatherapy, natural perfumery, and luxury fashion design, all infused with an intention for well-being. As a certified aromatherapist, I have delved deep into the healing properties of essential oils, crafting scents that do more than just tantalize the senses—they uplift the spirit. Each fragrance I create is a reflection of the shared stories I've encountered, serving as a bridge that connects me to the women who wear them. Through the art of natural perfumery, I’ve learned to harness the power of nature to evoke emotions and rekindle inner strength, allowing women to embrace their individuality and shine from within.
My foray into fashion design is born from a desire to empower women by providing clothing that not only enhances their physical appearance but also complements their inner essence. By combining luxurious fabrics with innovative designs, I aim to make every woman feel great, confident, and beautiful. Each piece in my collection serves as a reminder that true elegance comes from within, encouraging women to express their unique personalities and reclaim their narratives.
As I reflect on my evolution into the woman I am today, I recognize that it has been a journey shaped by both challenges and triumphs. The countless women I’ve met throughout this path have taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, self-empowerment, and the importance of community. Together, we celebrate our shared experiences, uncovering the brilliance that lies dormant within each of us. My Life
.."Growing up in the Ural Mountains, little Olia cherished her time spent in the forest with her granddad, listening to the songs of the birds. Together, they would collect beautiful white spring flowers, mix them with water, and simmer the mixture for a long time on the coal stove. This concocted liquid would later be used for healing skin ailments. It was her first lesson in making extracts. During her school years, Olia studied a variety of subjects, including sewing, physics, and chemistry, while also pursuing a full course of study at the music school..."
When I was a schoolgirl, my grandmother Nadia made a heartfelt request: “Please take my sewing machine when I die.” Those words lingered in my mind, filled with the weight of sadness I didn’t want to confront. Yet, as the years went by, I found myself inheriting that beloved old sewing machine, a cherished symbol of her influence in my life.
From the age of 16, I dived into the world of fashion, crafting everything from casual dresses to elegant school ball gowns and stylish leather jackets. Growing up in the industrial town of Zlatoust, I often felt uncertain about my future and initially chose to study engineering. I spent several years working as a quality assurance manager in a large factory. However, during a recession, I dusted off my grandmother’s sewing machine and began creating beautiful dresses for my daughters and wedding gowns for my colleagues. I had always believed in the power of style, finding ways to transform larger second-hand clothes into stunning custom designs.
When I moved to New Zealand, I realized my engineering days were behind me, and I yearned for something more fulfilling. Even though I held a guest visa that restricted my work opportunities, I poured my energy into fashion, entering competitions and achieving remarkable successes: winning first prize for the best evening dress at “Fiber and Fleece,” claiming the grand prize at a local fashion event, and creating a gown for my daughter to wear in the Miss Earth New Zealand competition, where we were honored with the title of "Best Fashion Wear." I even ventured into menswear, becoming a finalist at the Pacifica Fashion Show.
Along this journey, I met my wonderful husband, Gregory, who cultivated an olive grove and grew a variety of fruits and herbs. I joined my husband in cultivating olives and producing high-quality olive oil. This venture not only deepened my connection to the land but also allowed me to explore the culinary arts in a new and exciting way. The journey didn’t stop there; I also channeled my creativity into the world of skincare and wellness. I established my own natural skincare line and opened an Aromatherapy spa salon, where I blend natural ingredients to create soothing treatments that promote relaxation and rejuvenation. This holistic approach has been immensely rewarding, allowing me to share my passion for beauty and wellness with others while creating a nurturing space for self-care. Each step of this journey has enriched my life and enabled me to embrace my true passions.This ignited another passion of mine—aromatherapy and herbal knowledge. In a serendipitous moment, I blended music accords with essences and formulated my first perfume, named Anastasia, as a gift for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I continued my work in this field, launching my own business focused on natural beauty products while simultaneously brainstorming a name for my fashion line.
Fashion has always pulsed within me, yet I grappled with self-doubt, questioning how I could ever compete with established designers.
That’s when “Oli Valenti” came to me, a reflection of my first and middle name. I felt an undeniable urge—this was the moment to venture into fashion.
Although I didn’t have a clear vision of what I wanted to create, I was resolute in my commitment to producing high-quality garments using the finest natural fabrics available. I sourced luxurious fabrics from France and embarked on my journey with a blend of instinct and enthusiasm. Today, I carry an unwavering belief: take action, even when the odds seem stacked against you. Join me as I explore the world of fashion, one stitch at a time.
