About four years ago, I was planning an Oli Valenti silk scarf campaign and thinking about the woman I wanted to see wearing the scarf. I didn't have a complicated reason for choosing Nyakor Tut. Something about her caught my attention. I remember imagining her almost immediately in profile, with one of my silk scarves wrapped around her head. Georgia was crowned Miss New Zealand 2023 after entering her first-ever pageant. Her first title quickly opened the door to the international stage. Later that year, she represented New Zealand at Miss International in Japan, where she won the Miss Photogenic award.
